"As I always say, a woman's place is in the home (painting murals!) " Ha Ha!My mom recently unearthed a photo album documenting the life of my artist/grandparents Ralf and Jeanette Johnstone! Old photos set onto velvety black paper pages - and the writing in white ink! Oooh! It's just beautiful scrapbooking at its finest!
My favorites were the photos of the mural that is currently in my living room (previously their living room). I love how my grandma is wearing her bathing suit while she paints! Who needs a smock? I think this photo was taken in the mid 1930's.

That is an amazing photo. At first I thought it might be one of the women who joined Diego Rivera on painting one of the murals.
